Creative Adventures @ Caponi Art Park Groups visiting the park for this half-day program can choose between a hands-on art activity or an interactive performance (listed below). Both options also include an educational and tactile tour of the park's one-of-a-kind sculpture garden, which winds along hillsides and through woods within the parks 60 acre property.
Please note that the tour and performance or art activity will be scheduled for the same day. Our tours, activities, and performances can be adjusted to suit a wide age range of youth from preschool through middle school. Groups of up to 50 youth can be accommodated. One adult for every 10 youth is required to accompany the group. For children under 6 years of age, one adult is required for every 5 youth.

Caponi Art Park's hands-on activities are designed to enrich and reinforce the experience of touring Caponi Art Park. Drawing on nature for inspiration, children use found objects and other materials to create a work based on their experience in the park. Activities range from sculpture making to exploring music in nature, with options for a range of group sizes and ages. Dates are flexible and the hands-on activity option is available from May until the park closes for the season in October. |
