New Orleans Jazz in the Woods on Sunday, Aug. 21

Blues spirituals, rags and marches from Bill Evans New Orleans Jazz Band will fill the air in Caponi Art Park's outdoor amphitheater on Sunday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m. during the final Summer Performance Series event of the summer. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets on Sunday to spread out on the grassy slopes under the canopy of old oak trees for a toe-tapping evening at Caponi Art Park.

Caponi Art Park's 2011 Summer Performance Series is an annual family-friendly Sunday evening program that brings talented regional and local artists to perform a variety of music, theater and dance.

Admission to the performance is free, with a $4 per person suggested donation. In the event of rain, the performance will be relocated to Saints Martha and Mary Church in Eagan, located at 4180 Lexington Avenue South. Any weather-related announcements will be made on our website, Facebook page, Twitter account, and via email.
