New Outdoor Digital Photography Workshop

Bring your digital cameras to a free outdoor digital photography and macro skills workshop at Caponi Art Park on Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. Learn basic tips to improve travel, candid, landscape and macro shots from Legacy Creative Images. You'll also discover new tricks with your point and shoot or SLR digital camera. Please call 651.454.9412 to register.

Show us what Caponi Art Park looks like through your eyes! Enter up to 5 images of the Art Park to our 2011 Photo Contest and Exhibition now through October 9. Cash prizes will awarded in adult and youth (14 and under) categories.


Dakota Valley Summer Pops Orchestra and Chorale perform Sunday, July 10

The 90-member Dakota Valley Summer Pops Orchestra and Chorale will perform "Music of the Cosmos" on Sunday, July 10 at 6:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and enjoy music inspired by all things celestial. The performance is free, with a $4 per person suggested donation.

Sunday, July 17 is scheduled as a rain date in the event of poor weather. Any weather-related announcements will be made on our website, Facebook page, Twitter account, and via email.

This has been an exciting year for Caponi Art Park.
Our founder and artistic director, Anthony Caponi, turned 90 years old and was honored with an Eleven Who Care award. Governor Mark Dayton also proclaimed May 7 as Caponi Art Park and Learning Center Day in Minnesota, recognizing the contributions the nonprofit makes to our community.

Foundation Support Matches Donations from New Donors

Thanks to the K.B. Andersen Fund of the Saint Paul Foundation, new donors can double their contributions to Caponi Art Park. New and increased donations will be matched up to $15,000. Consider contributing $90 to celebrate 90 years of creativity and leadership by our founder, artistic director, and Eleven Who Care honoree, Anthony Caponi. Family Fun Tuesdays in July

The Family Fun Tuesday series presents all forms of art from storytelling and puppetry to music and dance in the intimate atmosphere of the Sculpture Garden at 10 a.m. on Tuesdays.
