Beat the Heat and Curl Up with a Good Book

Meaning Beyond Reason,
a collection of essays by Anthony Caponi, founder and artistic director of Caponi Art Park, is now available. The following is an excerpt from Meaning Beyond Reason.
Art is of man and never neutral.
Born of chaos and the need to harmonize; Born of boredom and the need to vitalize; Born of complexity and the need to clarify; Born of ambiguity and the need to emphasize; Born of ideas and the need to visualize; Born of discontent and the need to transform it; Born of pain and the need to alleviate it; Born of pleasure and the need to intensify it; Born of love and the need to express it.
