Sometimes you've just got to lie down and smell the grass.

A note from the Program and Volunteer Coordinator:
Do Minnesotan's secretly take pleasure in subjecting themselves to the extremes of our Zone 3 climate? Maybe. A friend living in gray London reminded me the other day that we can only truly appreciate the nice days when it's counterbalanced with the cold, dark days of November-- or year round in the case of London.
We are finally at those days we cooed about in March and now I hear everyone complaining about drought. The Weather Gods just can't seem to please us finicky 'Sotans. I'm sure they are laughing at us right about now for spending good money on rain barrels.
Despite the dry-spell, every time I walk out of my office into the green oasis of the Art Park, none of this matters. I am reminded why I love coming to work each day by the broad oak leaves, the delicate ferns, the carpets of moss and the visitors who wander by captivated and calmed.
This is a place to be charmed. I think it's time for my daily rain dance.

Getting Married? If you are looking for a beautiful location to exchange vows, Caponi Art Park's Theater in the Woods is now available for wedding ceremonies. Our wooded amphitheater is one-of-a-kind and truly a magical space. For inquiries about wedding ceremony rentals, please contact Wedding Coordinator Gayle Roberts at 651-452-1969 or by email.
A New Challenge!
All of the programs offered at Caponi Art Park are free to the public. We strongly believe in making the Art Park an affordable and accessible cultural center – a value we feel more committed to than ever during these challenging times.
But we can’t do it alone. Your support it critical. As a nonprofit we rely on contributed income to keep the Art Park and its programs alive. The Katherine B. Andersen Fund of the Saint Paul Foundation is challenging donors to help raise $15,000 in new or increased gifts. The Andersen Fund will match these contributions dollar for dollar. Please help us meet the challenge!
