Out of my sight! Thou dost infect my eyes!
Shakespeare Festival this weekend

Thou dankish brazen-faced wagtail! Thou goatish ill-nurtured bum-bailey! Thou bootless reeling-ripe measle! Thou tottering ill-breeding malt-worm! Thou paunchy onion-eyed minnow!
A highlight of this week's Family Fun Tuesdays program was actress Marysue Moses insulting the families with playful contempt. And the children loved it! Shakespearian insults are so boorish and rude that you can't help but smile even while being insulted.
If you enjoy a good insult, a timeless love story, a good tragedy, or clever schemes, come to the Shakespeare Festival this Friday and Saturday, June 25 & 26 to experience the Bard's work in a truly fitting setting, the Theater in the Woods. Here's what's in store:
Performances are free; a $4 per person donation is suggested to help make this program possible. In the event of rain, performance may be cancelled. Bring a food donation for Eagan's 150th Birthday Food Drive, which will be donated to the Eagan Resource Center.
Family Fun Tuesdays
Honors Minnesota's Ancestry
July's Family Fun Tuesdays program will celebrate the ancestry of Minnesotans in celebration of Eagan's 150th birthday this year. Come with your children and delve into the world of Irish dance and music (July 6), the life of a Minnesota voyager through dance (July 13), Native American storytelling (July 20), and music from Northern European countries like Sweden, Scotland, Ireland and Germany (July 27).
Rain or shine. Program are free; a $2 per person donation is suggested to help make this program possible. Childcare groups should call for space availability and fees.
Items Needed for Children's Art Projects
The Art Park is occasionally in need of specific items for art activities that we offer to organized groups. The activities enhance children's experience at the park after a guided tour in the Sculpture Garden. Currently, we are in need of brown book board for a book-making project. If you have a small or big stack, please let us know at 651.454.9412 or bring it to the next program you attend. Thank you!
