Halloween at the Art Park on October 29

Spooky SnakeWear your costumes and celebrate Halloween at Caponi Art Park on Saturday, October 29 from 1-4 p.m.

Families can take a short trick-or-treat tour of the art park's spooky sculptures with a costumed guide, decorate miniature pumpkins and gourds with paint, and make a Halloween craft. Visitors of all ages are invited to jump in a giant pile of leaves and explore Caponi Art Park during the last open weekend of the 2011 season. Hot apple cider, popcorn and s'mores will be available. This event is free, with a $2 per person suggested donation.


Congratulations to Our Photo Contest Winners!

More than 300 images were entered into this year's photography contest, shattering the annual photography contest entry record! After much thought from our five judges, we have come to a final decision. Congratulations to the youth and adult winners of the 2011 Photography Contest. Their photographs will be displayed in an public exhibition at the Eagan Community Center from October 27 to January. You can also view their images below.

All are invited to attend the photography exhibition's opening reception and awards ceremony on October 27 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center.


Caponi Art Park Closes on October 30

Caponi Art Park is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. through October 30. The park will be closed Monday, October 31 through April 30 to plan for an exciting 2012 season.
