Submit Your Photos Now: Contest Ends Oct. 9
There are only a few more days left to visit the art park and enter your photos! Youth and adults are invited to submit up to 5 photographs of the Art Park now through this Sunday, Oct. 9 to our 4th annual photography contest and exhibition. Cash prizes will be awarded in both adult and youth (14 and under) categories, and select images will be displayed in an exhibition at the Eagan Community Center from October 27 to January.
All are invited to attend the opening reception and awards ceremony on Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. at the Community Center.

Family-Friendly Halloween Event on Oct. 29
Wear your costumes and celebrate Halloween at Caponi Art Park on Saturday, Oct. 29 from 1-4 p.m. Take a short trick-or-treat tour of the art park's spooky sculptures with a costumed guide, play in a giant pile of leaves, and make a halloween craft. Hot apple cider, popcorn and s'mores will be available. This event is free, with a $2 per person suggested donation.
New Closing Hours Now through October
Caponi Art Park is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. through October 31. The park will close November 1 through April 30.

Meaning Beyond Reason Fireside Book Launch Have you heard?
Anthony Caponi, the founder and artistic director of Caponi Art Park and Learning Center, has published his third book, a collection of essays entitled Meaning Beyond Reason.
All are invited to meet the author and hear a passage from his new book at the Meaning Beyond Reason Book Launch this Sunday, October 9 from 1-4 p.m. Gather around the outdoor fireplace in the sculpture garden at 2 p.m. for s'mores and a book reading.
