Dear Friends of the Caponi Art Park,

It is rather bittersweet that the Summer Performance Series and Family Fun Tuesdays came to a close in August. We celebrate a successful summer filled with cultural and environmental activities for all to enjoy. With Autumn around the corner, we encourage you to come out and delight in the colors of the season. Don’t forget Caponi Art Park is open through October… snow permitting!

Introducing the First Caponi Art Park Photo Contest
The Art Park Invites you to enter our first-ever digital photography contest this fall. Whether you’re an amateur or experienced photographer, snap some photos while taking in the sculptures and natural beauty of the park. What does the park look like from your perspective? Capture it through your photos! Like the tired old saying, a picture is worth a thousand words. Visit our website for contest details and view sumbitted photos here.

Chivalry, Combat, Cooking and Costumes
Confused? It’s time for the annual Medieval Fair! Members of the Society for Creative Anachronism bring you the Middle Ages as they should have been: without the strife and pestilence! Authentic pavilions will be on display in a Medieval Village as SCA members in period dress present interactive demonstrations and activities to the public, including rapier and other armored combat, pewter casting, music and dancing, cooking, heraldry, and fiber arts. Fun and educational for children and adults.

Come for the art, stay for the fun!
