2010 Photo Contest

Caponi Art Park invites you to enter our 3rd annual online digital photography contest. It's as simple as this: show us what the Art Park looks like through your eyes.

Photos can be viewed below on this webpage and will be updated on a weekly basis as entries come in.

Legacy Creative Images, cash prizes will be awarded will be awarded in both adult and youth (14 and under) categories:

1st Place: $75 cash prizes
2nd Place: $50 cash prizes

In addition, winning photographs will be announced in our November e-newsletter and to local newspapers, posted on our website and used in promotional materials.

How to Enter:

1. Submit up to 5 of your best photographs by email to photo@caponiartpark.org by 11:50pm Central Standard Time on October 10, 2010. Photos should be a minimum of 1200 pixels on the shortest dimension;
   
   
2. Along with you photos, include your first and last name, city and state, and age if entering the youth category;
   
   
3. Optional: Please consider also adding your photos to Flickr.com on the Caponi Art Park group to share with the greater public.

Contest Rules:

• Photo(s) must be submited by 11:59pm Central Standard Time on October 10, 2010. Limit is 5 photographs.
• Photos must have been taken at the park;
• People captured in photos must consent use of their image;
• Photo must have been taken by the person submitting it.

Your Rights: You will retain all rights to any photograph you submit -- including ownership if applicable -- other than those rights licensed in the next sentence. By entering the contest, you hereby grant to Caponi Art Park (i) a nonexclusive, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free license to reproduce, distribute, publicly display and publicly perform the photographs you submit to Caponi Art Park, and (ii) the right to use your name, city and state of residence in promotions and other publications.
