Tours

Touring and discovering the grounds is an integral part of the Caponi Art Park experience. Individuals and families are encouraged to explore the park on their own. Hand-held park maps are available in the parking lot.

Guided tours of Caponi Art Park are available to organized groups such as schools, childcare centers, community organizations and church groups. Tours may include information about the park, history, founder and programs, discussion and tactile exploration of the sculptures, environmental education, a visit to the sculpture studio and conversation with the artist-in-residence and more!

Tours run between 45 – 90 minutes depending on the group and what participants are interesting in. The important areas of interest in the Art Park are easily accessible while some of the park’s hillier terrain makes for a good hike. Scheduling is flexible and groups are welcome to explore the park and use the picnic area after their tour.

The fee for a guided tour is $3 per person. Supplemental hands-on activities enhance the tour experience and are available for an additional fee.
