Caponi Art Park is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The IRS issued our original determination letter in December 1993, recognizing our tax-exempt status under Internal Revenue Code (IRC) Section 501(c)(3).
We are classified as a public charity, not a private foundation, as defined in IRC Section 509(a). Specifically, Caponi Art Park is described in Section 509(a)(3).
Caponi Art Park Reasoned Opinion
Because of our public charity classification, donors may deduct contributions to Caponi Art Park as allowed under IRC Section 170.
We are qualified to receive tax-deductible bequests, legacies, devises, transfers, and gifts under IRC Sections 2055, 2106, and 2522.
