The art park’s labyrinth is a 7-circuit variation on the Chartres Cathedral design. The oak tree at its center is unusual. Unlike a maze, there are no dead ends in a labyrinth, but one path leading into and out of the labyrinth’s center. Labyrinths are found in many cultures around the world and are used for meditation, reflection and prayer.
