Monument to a Lumberjack

Shortly after Caponi purchased this land, Oak Wilt began to kill many of the trees. Caponi used these two-person saw blades to clear the fallen trees and create an open space in the woods. This was the beginning of making the park. Caponi turned the saws into a sculpture and placed the work where no one would get cut on the sharp blades.
