The Observatory

The Observatory is one part of the Shrines to Nature public art project Christopher Lutter-Gardella created with the help of community members during Art Block 2020. He transformed buckthorn and wild grape vines into a space to think about our ancient connection to the stars. The Observatory was intended to be a temporary installation but it was built so well the park plans to keep it on display indefinitely.
