ArtAbility is a program designed for people with intellectual challenges and disabilities. ArtAbility emphasizes community, creativity, movement, and experiencing art in nature. Enjoy a workshop in our outdoor classroom. Or let us bring the park to you with a visit to your group’s site.
ArtAbility offers a wide range of workshops and nature walks or guided tours in a friendly, casual atmosphere. Your group will engage in new creative activities and learn about the sculptures, history, and natural settings of the art park. We work closely with you to create an experience that meets your group’s interests, needs, and program goals. Each on-site workshop includes a complimentary nature walk or guided tour designed for your group. You can also schedule a nature walk or guided tour without a workshop.

WORKSHOP AND TOUR PRICING
ArtAbility workshops run 45 – 60 minutes and are offered at a special discounted rate of $13 per person with a minimum of 10 students. The price of each workshop includes a 30 – 45 minute nature walk or guided tour.
Stand alone guided walking tours are $10 per person with a $50 minimum per group.
We also offer small group golf cart tours for people with mobility restrictions which are limited to 10 participants at a time.
We charge a fee for all traveling programs based on the standard IRS mileage reimbursement rate of $0.70 per mile round trip from the art park to your site.

We will ask for an estimated number of participants to be sure we have the right amount of workshop materials. We’ll also ask for more information about your group’s needs and the support staff coming with them. There is no charge for additional staff. The trails for the nature walk and guided tours are packed dirt and may be steep and uneven in some places.
If we’re bringing the park to you, We ask that you provide a space, indoors or out, that is large enough for your group to fully participate in the activities.

ARTABILITY WORKSHOP POLICIES
Scheduling: Workshops can be scheduled any weekday. To schedule a workshop or for more information on our educational programs, please email erin@caponiartpark.org, or call the park at 651-454-9412.
Change in the Number of Participants: If you know the size of your group will be significantly different than your original estimate, please contact us as soon as possible. If your group is considerably smaller without letting us know ahead of time, we will charge you for the number of participants in your original estimate.
Rescheduling Policy: If your class needs to be canceled or rescheduled, we will work with you to do so.
Weather Policy: If severe weather is predicted that would prevent you from having a safe visit at the park, or keep park staff from traveling to your site, we will contact you at least two hours prior to your visit to reschedule. If you have concerns, please contact us at least two hours prior to your workshop.
Payment Policy: You will be invoiced for the number of participants after your workshop.
COVID-19 Policies and Protocols: We follow current CDC guidelines when interacting with the public. We know that each group is different and we are happy to adapt our protocols to fit your needs. For more information please contact the park.
